Specialist Registrars in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia

Applications are invited for 1 year Specialist Registrar Training Posts in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia based at Papworth Hospital. The posts are intended for anaesthetists interested in pursuing a career in adult cardiothoracic anaesthesia and provides training in perioperative transoesophageal echocardiography.
Successful candidates will be expected to have obtained FRCA or equivalent and have completed at least 2 years SpR training. Applicants already holding a NTN should obtain the permission of their own Postgraduate Dean to retain their number and come to the Eastern Deanery for this period of training.
Holders of Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) from UK or overseas who require further subspecialty training are welcome to apply for a 12 month fixed term training appointment.
