The 'Matching Michigan' study, in which Papworth Hospital participated, has been published in BMJ Quality and Safety. The paper was accepted with very positive comments from the editor in chief, Professor Shojania, who said "Thank you for submitting such a remarkable study and well-written manuscript to our journal. I am delighted to say that your paper is accepted for publication as is. We’ve only done this once before, and that was for a viewpoint article, not a piece of research, never mind such a large and complex piece of research as this cluster, step-wedge RCT."
