The village of Papworth Everard is located on the A1198, (the old Ermine Street) and is approximately 7 miles south of Huntingdon and 12 miles west of Cambridge. For complete directions use the Route Planner on the AA website. Our postcode is CB23 3RE. (Please note that the local postcodes were recoded in September 2006. Visitors have informed us that the old Hospital postcode, CB3 8RE, may be required by some in-car Sat Nav systems. Please also note that the Papworth Everard bypass, which opened in 2007, does not appear on some newer maps.)
The nearest railway stations are St Neots (15 minutes), Huntingdon (20 minutes), Royston (20 minutes) and Cambridge (30 minutes) but you will need to complete your journey by taxi. For details please contact National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.
Daytime services are operated from Cambridge and St Ives by Whippet Coaches (tel: 01480 463792) It is advisable to check with the operating company for details of their weekday, evening and weekend services before you plan to visit. Alternatively, you can contact Traveline on 0871 2002233.
