SaferSLEEP Project
The report of a collaborative project between the National Patient Safety Agency, Royal College of Anaesthetists and Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland has been published. Consultant anaesthetist, Dr Roger Hall, was one of the co-investigators and a member of the expert consultative group.
In collaboration with the National Patient Safety Agency and the Royal College of Anaesthetist, the Department is planning to trial an innovative solution that reduces the likelihood of drug errors in the operating room and automate the creation of anesthetic records.
