Two new intensivists join the ICU team
1053 70 0 c0ef4b781cmeTwo new Consultant Intensivists will join the existing group of intensivists to create a dynamic team managing critically ill patients at Papworth Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Increasing patient numbers as well as increasing patient complexity, including participation in the national respiratory ECMO service, has lead to the need for expansion. Dr Herve Schlotterbeck and Dr Nicola Jones bring the group of Consultant Intensivists to six in total.

National Cardiac Arrest Audit
NCAALogo The National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA) is a joint initiative between two leading national healthcare charities - the UK Resuscitation Council and the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC).
The purpose of NCAA is to monitor and report on the incidence of, and outcome from, in-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK and Ireland in order to inform practice and policy.
