| National Cardiac Arrest Audit |
The National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA) is a joint initiative between two leading national healthcare charities - the UK Resuscitation Council and the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC).The purpose of NCAA is to monitor and report on the incidence of, and outcome from, in-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK and Ireland in order to inform practice and policy. Papworth Hospital is now a participating hospital in this project which means that every arrest within the hospital that has a 2222 call must have an audit form in order for us to meet with national regulations and to provide the information to be entered into the NCAA.
