Induction - SpR 3/4/5
Aim: On completion of the induction process, the new member of staff will be capable of undertaking their role in a safe and effective manner with any training / development needs identified and agreed as part of their personal development plan (PDP).

Objectives on induction process: To ensure that staff understand what is expected of them; familiarize themselves with the Trust, including policies and procedures, the local working environment, and to have undertaken mandatory and local training to carry out their role.

Local induction check-list: Must be completed by the new employee and the appointing manager / nominated person within the first four weeks of commencement and returned to the Education and Training Department to update the training records prior to filing in the employee's personal file.
